"Zuma Will Never Be ANC President Again, He Must Retire" Montana

While former president Jacob Zuma's supporters are said to be pressuring him to run again for ANC presidency in 2022 contesting against Cyril Ramaphosa, former Prasa boss, Lucky Montana argues that in as much as Zuma is loved by people he must now retire from politics.

Montana said it is time that people should accept the bitter truth that Jacob Zuma shall never return to lead ANC or the country again as he had played his part and his time is over.

"We love President JG Zuma. It inspires us he’s still willing to sacrifice himself and continue the fight. But it’s time for him to rest, spent time with his family. We know revolutionaries do not retire. But it is time for the younger generations to assume leadership of the ANC.

For the millions who love Msholozi and calling for fundamental change, it’s time we accept the objective truth Msholozi shall never return to lead the ANC or country ever again. He’s played his part and made a huge contribution in the political life of our country and her people," he said.

Lucky Montana's utterances comes after speculations are that some ANC members will soon be making their way to Jacob Zuma's homestead to coerce him to contest again for ANC presidency.

Montana said Jacob Zuma no longer need formal leadership to lead as he just need to share his wisdom with the young generation without contesting for any position.

"Msholozi is a giant of our liberation struggle. What an Extraordinary Revolutionary Life! He doesn’t need a formal Leadership position to lead. He must use the remaining years of his life to share his wisdom, knowledge, experience and skill to build the next generation of leaders.

When we’re asked what should be the qualities of our community activists and political leaders, we say they must be like Msholozi. His life of struggle and sacrifice, love for his people, our traditions and Africa, his generous human spirit and anti-imperialism, that’s what inspire us," he said.

Montana's utterances captures well the phrase "every good dancer knows when to get off the stage".
