When it comes to the ANC, this is one party that many people have lost hope in. South Africans no longer trust that this party can take this country forward. It looks like they have reached their limits. There is nothing more that they can do above what they have done so far. This party has reached its breaking point and even they can see it but they refuse to accept it. As much as they fail so much at home, it is quite obvious that even though others matter outside of South Africa, they won't be able to attend to them effectively.
Joseph Kalimbwe is a Zambian politician at the ruling United Party for National Development of Hakainde Hichilema, author, and activist. Previously, he was president of the African Union youth simulation in 2014 and president of the student representative council of the University of Namibia in 2017.
According to Joseph Kalimbwe, the ANC seems to be afraid of ZanuPF and there is much truth in this statement. The ANC is afraid to confront ZanuPF on so many levels. Even when they do wrong, they can never confront them directly.
"The ANC is scared of Zanu-PF. These people side with each other in the name of revolutionary brotherhood. Our region, SADC, is in turmoil, we need tough leadership where nations ain't afraid to stand on oppression!!!"
These parties don't have the interest of the people at heart. The only thing they care about is the power that they are trying so hard to hold on to. They are power-hungry. It is about time that the ANC is shown the door. Come 2024 the people to give parties a chance. The ANC has been in power for way too long and they have not run out of ideas for anything to improve the lives of the people.
