The newly elected Mayor of Johannesburg, Mpho Moerane, has today went to his church for service in which he was blessed by his pastor as well. This ahead of the coming local government elections.
This practice is very common with politicians to head to their various churches before elections.
The Mayor posted via his Twitter account in which the caption read: ‘’Good morning Joburgers. I would like to wish you all a blessed and fruitful day, on this bright and sunny Sunday. My family and I joined the congregation of St Michael & All Angels Anglican Church service this morning in praise and worship to the Most High.’’
Another post which he added had a caption of: ‘’Order my steps dear Lord. The task ahead of me is one that needs the guidance of Christ and I would like to thank my church for praying for me and my family during this Sunday’s service.’’
The Mayor is seen kneeling down and being prayed for the pastor.
