OPINION | Ramaphosa Is 'Legally Disqualified' From Having Anything To Do With The PP Suspension

Advocate Dali Mpofu, who is leading the legal group that is addressing Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane on her battle against suspension, argued that President Cyril Ramaphosa is not permitted by regulation to do anything comparable to the suspension of Mkhwebane. Mpofu is leading the group that is addressing the suspension of Mkhwebane.

Mpofu, who was managing the potentially irreconcilable situation regarding President Cyril Ramaphosa as a result of investigations into the President, stated that he is "legitimately excluded" from initiating a suspension of Mkhwebane, who is investigating him.

Advocate Dali Mpofu claims that the purpose of the leaked text message regarding the Constitutional Court judgment was to influence the Western Cape High Court, which was going to hear her forbid application to stop parliament request. Mpofu is referring to the fact that the text message was spilled.

According to what he had to say, "it was an intentional exhibition of guiltiness and defilement."

Mpofu is of the opinion that President Cyril Ramaphosa ought to disqualify himself from the proceedings surrounding the possible suspension of Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane.

In any event, pundits are of the opinion that this lawsuit may not be able to be won, but Dali Mpofu is seeking to call the shots so that the decision can be postponed.
