This comes as there is no cohesion in the local governments that are led by coalitions. Malema said in Kwa-Zulu Natal, the EFF gave the Inkatha Freedom Party a lot of municipalities, but if they fail to cooperate then they will be left with no option, but to engage with ANC's Radical Economic Transformation forces to vote with them.
"We gave IFP lots of municipalities and even Nongoma. We will take everything starting from Nongoma. We asked them for MPAC in Johannesburg, IFP can’t tell us they are being defied by Gauteng. We will now start engaging RET forces to vote with us.
There’s no longer ANC in KZN. It’s RET forces. We are going to ask RET forces to vote with us," he said.
The red beret leader Julius Malema adds that the EFF will no longer tolerate bullies in Kwa-Zulu Natal municipalities that's why they are going to send a strong team there.
"We can’t allow a situation that we are stuck with people who don’t know what they doing. Bullies wont take chances with the leadership we sending there. Limpopo was one of our biggest feeders but KZN and EC are in the party and Limpopo is leaving," he said.
Economic Freedom Fighters voted with the Democratic Alliance in a bid to paralyze ANC in several municipalities. Although their plan worked, Malema is however crying foul that that the DA is insulting them, hence they want to teach them a lesson.
He warned the Democratic Alliance that if they continue to insult the red berets they will be sorry very soon as the EFF will look the other direction.
"The DA is going to collapse these metros and they are insulting people. If they continue to insult us in Ekurhuleni and we will move another direction. We voted with them despite them insulting us.
The ANC and DA are both devils but DA would have been a better devil. They don’t want to work with us and continue to talk nonsense, the DA must know the EFF door is still open," he said.
