Andile Lungisa Sings Praises For Cyril, Is He Ditching RET?

Former Nelson Mandela Bay Councillor Andile Lungisa who is a staunch supporter of former statesman Jacob Zuma left many in shock when he sang praises to Cyril Ramaphosa for the first time since he began president.

Andile Lungisa has been known over the years for criticizing Cyril Ramaphosa and offering relentless support to fellow RET comrades including former president Jacob Zuma and suspended secretary general Ace Magashule.

Lungisa said Cyril Ramaphosa was welcomed resoundingly contrary to what his fellow RET comrades would have expected. The Radical Economic Transformation comrades have been opining that everywhere Ramaphosa is going is causing chaos as he is being rejected by the masses for allegedly buying the 2017 Nasrec conference which saw him emerging as the ANC president.

"President Ramaphosa well received at Ward 40 the ANC is going to win this from the DA. Young candidate Cde Nonkie will be a councillor come November 1," said Andile Lungisa.

These utterances however left many critics wondering what is happening with Andile Lungisa and whether or not he is slowly drifting from the RET faction.

Some argued that maybe the RET gang is finally accepting that the movement is going on even without them at the reins of power within the ANC.

"RET comrades are defeated. Many don't know whether they are coming or going. They are neutralised. It is too late,"

"Now you're talking Lungisa this is your president a sitting president, not a former president. No, who thought you will one day be smart? Who taught you that if you want to be good in the ANC you should just go with the flow and be fine? Critics inquired as they could not believe what Andile Lungisa had just said about Ramaphosa.

With only a few days left to local government elections, political parties are doing their last minute campaigns begging voters to go out in their numbers and cast their votes.
