Former president is worried about the current status of ANC

Former president of the republic of South Africa, Mr Kgalema Motlanthe is worried about the current status of the African National Congress (ANC).

Former President of the republic of South Africa Kgalema Motlanthe has warned against “thuggish” behaviour and “gangsterism” in the African National Congress (ANC) as he lashed out at some cabinet ministers and their deputies in President Cyril Ramaphosa’s administration for promoting divisions in the party when carrying out their organisational and government duties.

He is stating this when the country is going in local government elections which will be held on the 1st of November 2021.

African National Congress is currently broke, and it's failing to pay its employees for months.

Beside, many African National Congress delegates to the government are implicated in corruption and that has made some people to loose trust on African National Congress and also in politics.

Motlanthe, who is the organisation’s electoral committee chairperson is worried about the status quo of ANC.
