Tito mboweni delivered a wonderful budget speech yesterday. We have seen some adjustments in the economic sector and taxes. South African social security Agency made some adjustments in social grant.
The covid-19 social relief grant will still be R350 per person no changes were made. As from the 1st of April 2021 the following grants will be increased, 1. Child support grant an increase with R10 making it R460 a month, 2. Foster child grant increases to R1 050, 3. Old age grant increases to R1 890, 4. Disability grant increases to R1 890, 5. Care dependency grant increases to R1 890, 6. War veterans grant increases to R1 910.
The covid-19 social relief grant will continue for 3 months as promised by the president in the State of nation address known as SONA.
