Did Makombe building ask people for a letter of employment and payslip to renew a passport? Opinion

The thing is, the Zimbabwean government, I think they are trying to encourage their people to stay in the country for the coming elections. So that people can vote or participate in 2023 elections.

This is not the way that they can discourage people from coming to the other countries, we know that the Zimbabweans will always find a way. If they could manage to break through the new boarder fence that they South African government have put. Their government is wasting time, these guys they can do anything to come to South Africa, even on the time they need vote. So these things that they are also asking or requiring from Zimbabweans to get a passport, it is just a futile exercise.

Leading the conversation with BBCZWE : We hear that, those who are applying for the renewal of their passports through Zimbabwe. Consulate are finding it difficult to submit their application forms in Zimbabwe. They are asked to produce proof of employment letter and payslip. When did this started? Anyone with info, or its just corruption by officers. Let's talk.
