South African people were astonished when they learnt this week that some high rankings officials allegedly pocketed the money that was meant for Mama Winnie Mandela's memorial service. This new revelations not only infuriated many ordinary South African people, but also high profile people in our country seem to be dismayed by this news.
And one of the people who appears to be triggered by this new developments, is none other Bantu Holomisa. Bantu Holomisa needs no introduction because he is widely known across the country. And Holomisa has taken to Twitter to his view regarding this issue.
Bantu Holomisa on his official Twitter account uploaded two pictures of articles which talked about the money that was pocketed by certain high rankings leaders. Bantu Holomisa captioned those pictures with the most captivating words.
In his own words, Bantu Holomisa profoundly stated the following:
"They eat this money using their wives so- called companies. Instead of these so- called provincial leaders to mourn the passing of Madiba and Winnie, they opted to line their pockets. It’s a shame"
There is some indication that the discourse in South Africa will center around this new revelations.
