President Ramaphosa addressed the nation last night. This was after he had a meeting with the National Corona Virus Council whereby he was coordinating the cabinet. The meeting was all about how the nation is responding to the Corona virus. Many people were not expecting this national address as there was no signal of it.
immediately when it was announced that the President will address the nation, many people anticipated that he might take the country to level 1, as the number of daily confirmed cases is reducing every day.
Fortunately, his speech was music to the ears of citizens. Finally, it was confirmed that the country will be move to level 1 of lockdown from today. This means that all those rules and regulations that were implied for level 2 will be eased. Below are some of the things that changed:
The number of people who can attend a funeral service has been increased from 50 to 100. However, after-tear gatherings are still not permitted.
The sale of alcohol will be allowed for normal hours, but all bars and alcohol suppliers must close at 11 PM.
Another announcement that shook the country is that the department of health will start giving out vaccination certificates soon. This means that there will be some places where people who are not vaccinated will not be permitted to enter.
However, as he was addressing the Nation, Mzanzi noticed something that left many people talking all over social media. They noticed that the President was looking handsome in his T-shirt. See comments below:
What are your thoughts on this? Do you think mr President look more handsome on suits or on t shirt? Leave your comments below.
