Source: Drum MagazineThis is a historical Moment in South african History.
For many who grew up during the times of Apartheid you would clearly remember these once beautiful and eye catching place.
Although it was at a time where people where devided by race and by their complection, since we would now but we do believe at soe poit it was a white only zone.
For this was something normal at the time and Black people of south africa where never even so a single moment allowed unless authorised or when with a white person.
After the ANC came into power we may never know or really find out on what really changed hillbrow, but many would claim it non-south africans.
But can we really blame Non-South African people for what has happened in a country where their own people where staying and the Government nowing very well that they are there.
For what it worth Sunnyside, Hillbrow was a baeutiful place come the 80s but now we can never see that baeuty.
