Dots are starting to connect as to why former Finance Minister, Tito Mboweni abruptly resigned. Last year Mboweni shocked the nation when one morning he woke up and resigned, no warning, no sign. "I have accepted a long-standing request by Minister Tito Mboweni to be excused from his position as Minister of Finance,” President Cyril Ramaphosa said then.
It turns out Mboweni was no longer in Ramaphosa’s good books. Now news are surfacing that the former Finance Minister was somehow double-crossing the ruling party. This was exposed by former MKVA veteran, Carl Niehaus on Twitter. Niehaus exposed Mboweni, saying there's a letter Lindiwe Sisulu write to Ramaphosa, exposing Mboweni's double standards. "@tito_mboweni If I were you I would rather worry about Cde. @LindiweSisuluSA's letter to Pres. Ramaphosa, inter alia about your role in the formation of #COPE. I'm not abusing @MYANC. I express concern about the ANC's future. But I don't expect you to understand the difference", Niehaus said.
This was after Mboweni and Carl Niehaus exchanged some hot words on Twitter. Mboweni had accused Carl of abusing the ANC. But who is the greatest traitor now? Dr JJ Tabane also talked about the formation of COPE and leaders behind it. Tito Mboweni was their spin doctor. JJ Tabane have it on good authority that Tito Mboweni was pivotal in the formation of COPE, he must answer to these allegations.(Source:https://youtu.be/Gy5duiGr0m4)
Those that created COPE accused Ace Magashule of creating ATM. The ANC investigated cde. Ace and found nothing. Will they investigate Mbeki, Manuel, Mboweni and Godongwane? Ai sies man, Carl further said.We know Supra Mahumapelo was part of that scam as well. It would be interesting to see how selective that Sisulu letter is going to be! Isn't it Sisulu and Mahumapelo are in the same camp! it's getting interesting..We need a commission of enquiry why the Anc is being destroyed from within.
