OPINION| Interesting Topic About Zimbabwean Politics

Today i just want to talk about one interesting topic in Zimbabwean politics. Zimbabwean opposition are ignoring one important thing of politics called ideology. Ideology simply refers to set ideas that a certain political party is inclined to. Thus at most nationalists parties are pro peasants and the grass roots people. Labour parties are trade unionist centered political parties. In Zimbambwe we have ZANU PF which successfully identified and branded itself as a nationalist party and through and through ZANU PF had been pro peasantry, this is always displayed by ZANU PF continued triumph of most rural areas Then we have the whole opposition MDC formation in there names. In my view the MDC family with all its different names has a big political ideological identification crisis. MDC was born from mainly Labour roots but in its wish to have a united front against the ruling party they joined hands with students activists and capitalists or (industrialists and land owners) who felt threatened by ZANU PF populist policies. This was a very good and wise move by MDC for in numbers you win. The problem remains that MDC as a Labour movement failed to tame their courted partners into their ideological palmDivisions and discord will always be in MDC because ideologically the partners do not meet. Obviously what Biti as human rights lawyer and activist say and what Eddie Cross as industrialist, say plus what the labour centered Komichi and Khupe say and the student politics Chamisa will say will never meet and mix in one pot. This is what is called ideological identity crisis. If my cyber waffling guys from Chinja camp does not realize this they will continue to shout and scold people on face Facebook but no change will come, all a lot of people are good on social media but cowards in real life
