"Corruption was a never a Zuma problem because it still happens under Ramaphosa" says Shilowa

The former Gauteng Premier Mbhazima Shilowa addressed Saftu on Tuesday morning. While addressing Saftu, the former ANC politican, Shilowa talked about many issues that have been confronting South Africa in recent years. Trade union federation Saftu is currently meeting at the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni, to elect new leadership and adopt new policies. The Saftu conference to elect new leadership is expected to continue on until Thursday with general-secretary Zwelinzima Vavi seeking re-election. Vavi is set to go head-to-head with his suspended deputy Moleko Phakedi.

In the meanwhile, Mbhazima Shilowa said, when addressing Saftu that, "There is a debate out there that Trade Unions are useless and unions just want money, trade union leaders are just about themselves, they are captured by capital. You need to ask yourselves what contribution you are making."

And the former Gauteng Premier continued to point that Corruption is an ANC problem.

In his own words, Shilowa said that "corruption is rife aided by the private sector, auditing firms and politicians as attested by the State Capture Corruption. "Corruption was a never a Zuma problem because it still happens under Ramaphosa. It is an ANC problem"
