The African National Congress veteran and KwaZulu-Natal premier Sihle Zikalalawas addressing the members of ANC at the launch of the ruling party's election manifesto in KwaZulu-Natal. Only 29 days are left for the votes to be casted in this year's local government elections.
Sihle Zikalala said that the ANC has pledged to uproot corruption in south African, besides it's long history of it's top members. Sihle Zikalala also conceded that ANC still had a long way to go in eradicating poverty and delivering services.
However, social media followers criticized Zikalala for only trying to intervene and solve the problem now that the local government elections are around the corner. People are saying that it was just a public stunt to lure residents to vote for the ruling party ANC again even though they had spend all these years without running water.
