For the longest time the deputy secretory general of the ANC Jersy Duarte has been missing in action. The last time that she was actively involved in the matters of the ANC was last year in November during the local government elections.
It is now believes that Duarte has been book off sick after she was hospitalized with gastrointestinal complications. This information comes to light as the ANC's national working committee has requested that the treasure general of the ANC Paul Mashatile assist in doing some of the Jersey Duarte's work, which also include the work of if the suspended secretory general Ace Magashule.
We know that there has been many speculations as to why Jersey Diarte did not attend the January 8 statement of the party. It was made to believe that it was because of the factions within the ANC but it has now been proven that it is not the case.
Officials of the NWC wished Duarte a speedy recovery and expressed their solidarity with her family and loved ones as they support her during this difficult time.
The ANC is operating on autopilot mode. Now the treasure general is supposed to do the work of three people. This is a recipe for disaster.
