President Cyril Ramaphosa Presents 4 Candidates For The Position Of Chief Justice

President Cyril Ramaphosa has presented the list of four candidates for the position of Chief Justice. The names were presented to the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) and leaders of political parties to consider who is the best fit for the position and choose him. 

The name of the people presented by president Cyril Ramaphosa are: Mbuyiseli Madlanga, Constitutional Court Justice, Judge Mandisa Maya the president of the Supreme Court of Appeal, Dunstan Mlambo, Judge President of the Gauteng Division of the High Court, and lastly, Raymond Mnyamezeli Mlungisi Zondo Deputy Chief Justice.

Records have it that this is the first time in the history of South Africa when four names are presented for the post of chief justice. All of them will be interviewed by the Judicial Service Commission as the president usually only nominates one person.
