The cry of zimbabwean citizens living in South Africa has gotten the attention of their authorities back home, as they government is currently discussing ways to help assimilate those affected by the recent decision taken by South African government to cancel Zimbabwe exemption permit.
It is no longer news that the Zimbabwe exemption permit was introduced to help Zimbabwean nationals living Illegally in South Africa to legally stay and work temporarily within the country.
Many South Africans thought the program was being manipulated and demanded for a total ending of the permit after its expiration date.
Meanwhile, the zimbabwean government has extended its hands of fellowship to citizens affected by the decision of SA government.
The country advised her citizens to accept the phasing out of the Zimbabwe exemption permit while urging them to return back home.
The Zimbabwe government also assured them that the country's embassy in South Africa will help them return back slowly until their completely leave.
"Zimbabwe Government is calling on its entitled citizens to accept the phasing out of Special Permits and come back home. Their Embassy is ready to help them go home, slowly taps are closing."
