Suspended ANC bigwig Declares Cyril's 'Incoming' Replacement.

The ANC's much-anticipated national conference in December is the driving force behind the organization's much-intensified political discussion. The incumbent president hasn't had to do much in the past to win re-election, but President Cyril Ramaphosa may have a lot tougher time doing it this time around.

There have been a slew of applicants vying for Ramaphosa's job, according to reports.

The names of Dr. Zwelini Mkhize, Lindiwe Sisulu, and Ace Magashule are anticipated to be put up. All of these figures are ideologically hostile to the president, and so, they are unable to tolerate another five years of his leadership.

However, a new name has been tossed into the ring. That's David Mabuza, South Africa's vice president, who has stood aloof from the ongoing debate around the summit.

The CR22 brigade has been suspected of scheming to get rid of Mabuza after his faction's recent defeat in the Mpumalanga provincial election. Mandla Ndlovu's appointment as chairperson has been widely seen as a blow to his popularity in the province.

Ngrayi Ngwenya, Mabuza's close supporter and former Ehlanzeni regional chair, has delivered a bombshell stating that Mabuza will rise to the highest post at Luthuli house come December, rain or shine.

"DD Mabuza will be the country's president, whether or not the people want him to be. To ensure that Mabuza does not become president, the ANC is dismissing me "Mabuza will be nominated for president by the Nkomazi chapters. Ngwenya mentioned this during a speech at a Block B Inkomazi community gathering.

The ANC briefly suspended Ngwenya's membership because of his role in a brawl that broke out during a Nkomazi branch meeting, during which several members were beaten into submission. To prevent him from supporting Mabuza's candidacy in the next 55th national elective conference, he claims his suspension.

"You should be aware that the ANC is trying to get rid of me in order to obstruct Mabuza's presidential bid. Mabuza would be nominated for president by the Nkomazi chapters "he went on to say.

According to Ngwenya's statement, Mabuza has lost considerable support from both the C22 group and the RET brigade, which he ironically abandoned during the 2017 Nasrec conference, making it unlikely that Ngwenya's prediction is accurate.

He is known as "The Cat," and it would be foolish for his opponents to write him out just yet, as he has demonstrated his political cunning over the years.
