The Displeased ward 78 inhabitants arranged a dissent outside the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Monday, where the introduction of the eThekwini metropolitan gathering was set to be held.
The gatherings representative, Dumisani Ngcobo, told SowetanLIVE's sister distribution TimesLIVE they were not dazzled with the aftereffects of the new political race and had grumbled to the Electoral Commission (IEC).
The ward fuses portions of Umlazi municipality.
Ngcobo said they had griped to the IEC and blamed the region chief for not taking care of their grievance.
The gathering had been drop-kicking free competitor Sphiwe Msomi yet the ward was secured by Zakhele Nomiya of the ANC.
We have been confounded attempting to get the IEC to correct our questions, said Ngcobo, adding that they would not leave the area without their debate being settled.
