Questions currently arising on social media include Former President Jacob Zuma's stayed of Freedom. Is Zuma going back straight to jail. This comes after on Tuesday Judge Elias Matojane announced that he has reserved judgement in the application to have the former President, Jacob Zuma's medical parole set aside. Matojane says he has endeavoured to deliver his ruling as soon as possible.
This comes after the Helen Suzman Foundation, the DA and lobby group Afriforum approached the High Court in Pretoria in a bid to review and set aside Correctional Services Commissioner Arthur Fraser's decision. The Helen Suzman Foundation has told the High Court in Pretoria that the decision to grant former President Jacob Zuma parole must be set aside and he should return to prison.
Zuma, who was arrested in July for being in contempt of court was granted medical parole after spending a few days behind bars. Former Prison Boss, Arthur Fraser authorized the controversial parole. The DA and the Helen Suzman must not play with fire. If Jacob Zuma can die in prison the country will be on fire. We should have learned from July riots some are associating violent we saw with arrest of Jacob Zuma incarceration.
Meanwhile, the Jacob Zuma Foundation has sent out an appreciation Tweet to Advocate Dali Mpofu and his team. Apparently Mpofu and team exposed the Right Wing elements in "their lies in Court and their hateful case against Zuma". Thanks for pointing out that they would never do this unholy alliance if it was De Klerk or PW Botha, the Foundation said.
