The party won about 10% of the votes nationwide in this year’s local government elections and they are ready to celebrate. The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has embarked on a thanksgiving drive-by slaughtering five cows ahead of its Siyabonga rally tomorrow. The ceremony is being led by the party leader, Julius Malema in Tembisa on Gauteng’s East Rand.
The cow that got the chop first was actually gifted to the EFF by King Zwelithini of the Zulu Monarchy. Sadly, the long-reigning monarch died earlier this year – but the party leaders believe that the time has come to share the gift with their supporters.
Although the results in the local government elections were not that good on the EFF side, they continued with their lives just like that. A few days ago, a Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe SUV, worth around R1.8m, was handed to Dalindyebo by EFF leader Julius Malema at the monarch’s Nkululekweni private residence in Mthatha.
