OPINION| The reason why Mbeki is allegedly complaining about the membership that ANC is recruiting

The reason why Mbeki and other ANC members are complaining about the quantity membership that ANC is recruiting at the expense of quality membership is because the very complainists (Mbeki and ANC elitists) recruited the very quantity membership to divide ANC with narratives such as Guptas and Zuma are said to be corrupt, and only for quantity membership to realize long after quality membership (progressive blacks) have woken them up that in reality, those who say they are corrupt are actually corrupt

Our people are awakening daily to the corruption of the Ankole ANC, and they are adamant that Othunyiwe and the stomachists must leave immediately; if you hear someone pushing for Othunyiwe's second term, you should know that the individual has reached the end of his or her political career. You should also be aware that elders of corruption can purchase them for two beers and a smoke, but the truth is that Cyril's term has reportedly reduced us to a judicial dictatorship.

So, the two beer and cigarette comrades are the ones Mr. Mbeki may be referring to as quantity membership president Zuma and the Guptas were never corrupt, but they disrupted the corruption that is occurring now with millions of dollars stashed in their houses, R500 billion looted, SOES being sold, Luthuli House staff salaries not being paid, blacks being unemployed, particularly youth, and now, they are selling Durban Port. Mention Zuma corruption that Zondo dismally failed to, and you may even bring up the lies that Zuma bought a house in Dubai or Melema's lies that R6 billion was packed on a plane for Zuma to flee the country. Perhaps Malema was referring to the Phala Phala heist, or perhaps he is now a Sangoma. mkhabela/mpumelelo-mkhabela-why-an-arab-spring-revolution-wont-happen-in-south-africa-20220809
