He was able to introduce a plan for long term for monitoring performance and evaluation and national planning commission which also produced a National development plan(NDP) vision till 2030.

He participated in all structures that were leading to interim constitution for the new South Africa.He played a major role in making sure that he turn the international media against apartheid.
