South Africa is still undergoing voting registration for the local government voting. The Minister of Cooperative and Traditional Affairs, Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma has announced that the voting will be held on 01 November 2021. Many South Africans especially first time voters are encouraged to register to vote.
"Our actions have thus far proved true to our noble intentions to keep the flame of democracy burning by voting on 01 November 2021." Said Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma
The 'Zip Zip' devices used for registration on previous elections are said to be replaced with new technology for real time registration and participation of voters.
South Africans are not happy with some of the ward leaders or counselors choosen for their wards. Many people criticized pictures of this people while others did not.
