Parade protest

She publicly committed to protect Zuma with her buttocks, she must leave, Nomvula Mokonyane slammed

Nomvula Mokonyane blasted her, saying, "She publicly promised to protect Zuma with her buttocks, she must leave."

Nomvula Mokonyane joined the protesters calling for justice for Namhla as they marched. Mokonyane and other leaders of the organization were spotted leading from the front. Others were less than pleased with Mokonyane's attendance, suggesting she was merely attempting to garner attention. Since Mokonyane had previously advocated for a man suspected of abusing women, she had been accused of manipulating the march for her own personal gain. A promise by Minister Nomvula Mokonyane to protect President Zuma with her buttocks landed her in the spotlight. When Zuma was accused of rape, this photo was taken. Brenda Mpitsang, a spokesman for Mokonyane, said the "buttocks" term was not meant to be taken literally. A figurative language was being used by her. She was merely demonstrating our willingness to go to great lengths to safeguard the president. "What she said has no literal sense."

Nomvula Mokonyane is one of those who publicly attacked the KWEZI and swore to protect Zuma with her buttocks, one Twitter user remarked. When Khwezi accused the country's former president of rape more than a decade ago, a national conversation about South Africa's rape culture was ignited. At the age of 41, she died of natural causes. After a group of ladies mounted a demonstration on Khwezi's behalf, Mokonyane reacted angrily. Apoplectic in support of Zuma were Nomvula Mokonyane and Lindiwe Zulu, as well as Bathabile Dlamini. Mokonyane wants to portray herself as an advocate for women's rights in the present day. There are many who claim that she is a liar and hypocrite.

Meanwhile, Mokonyane urged for the arrest of the assassin of Namhla Mtwa during the march. "We'll do a citizen arrest if the criminal isn't caught quickly," Mokonyane threatened.

In April, a gunman opened fire on Namhla while she was driving. Her businessman boyfriend, an ANC member, is said to have been involved. In spite of this, no one has been charged. Everything is out of control in South Africa. It's heartening to see a FORCE of folks band together to help someone who no longer has the ability to speak for herself. Despite Namhla's death, you South Africans stood up when it counted most! This is how LOVE works!
