Residents Torch Municipal Buildings and Cars In Mpumalanga

Service delivery is one of the things that the government is failing the residents of South Africa in, these people who are voters are let down by the very same people they put in power through their botes, and when they are fed up, hell breaks lose, properties are torched these days.

Fed up and irritated people of Laendra in Mpumalanga Province took matters into their own hands and torched municipal properties including an undisclosed number of vehicles.

According to a Tweet by advovolicious @advovolicious, Thusong centre is one of the torched properties, they are demanding to be allocated land for residence.

"A volatile situation in Leandra Mpumalanga. Residents torched municipal property which include a thusong centre and vehicles. They want the municipality to provide them land for human settlement," the Tweet reads.

The government officials no longer care about the people who voted them in once they are in power, all they care about is enriching themselves, caring less about the people.

The same government will have to spend a lot of money to rebuild the infrastructure that was destroyed, which they could have saved had they delivered what they promised.
