Good news for the South African political party ActionSA as former executive mayor of the Midvaal Local Municipality Bongani Michael Baloyi has now officially become a member of the party. The news of his membership was announced on popular micro-blogging site Twitter by ActionSA and its founder Herman Mashaba.
HERE WE GO! @BonganiBaloyiEM to ActionSA is confirmed! He joins and says he is "committed to project 2024, unseating the ANC, and using his experience in government to bring good governance to even more South Africans."
Bongani Baloyi is a South African politician who was elected mayor at the age of 26 years old and he consequently became the youngest mayor in South Africa up to date.
Many people have reacted to this, see their responses below,
"Build a strong organization with proper systems to govern. Not a cult where we going to follow the leader. Welcome Mr. Baloyi"
"It is a compliment to the DA that a party such as ActionSA steals from them and not the EFF or ANC. The latter two have nobody worthwhile considering for anything useful in ANY position!"
TIMNICE. K. H. MOGOGOLE™ tweeted,
"Words can't say much but this marriage is long overdue. Congrats to Bongz, I and we know our rights as #LGBTQI persons in this party will be respected and taken into high consideration."
"Sometimes you action SA you must come to Limpopo we don't see you this site"
