EFF's leader, Julius Malema, broke jaws during EFF's manifesto launch at Gandhi Square in Joburg CBD, when he famously said that if citizens of South Africa vote for EFF in the upcoming local municipal elections, he'll make sure that he builds them RDP houses in the developed area of Sandton.
As you'd expect, after South Africans heard of Malema's plans, they quickly took to the comments section to air their views about this whole matter of Malema promising to build in Sandton.
Many said Malema must be out of his mind by suggesting this because Sandton is already a developed area and doesn't need much infrastructure, especially RDPs that will lower its makert value. Rather, Malema should concentrate on improving township infrastructure and forget about Sandton.
Now it seems like the ridiculous promises of Malema have caught the attention of Herman Mashaba, as the ActionSA leader said that citizens should be wary of such individuals who make such promises by smooth talking, while not delivering results through actions.
So far Malema hasn't responded to Mashaba’s shade but if he decides to, it will he really interesting to see how that goes because he's got a big mouth that surely knows how to clapback.
