Covid-19 cases surge in South as the country has now recorded over 168 000 cases. This surge in cases has left so many concerned and there has been calls for lockdown level 5.
There has been several calls to lift the lockdown, however there has also been several calls to move the country back to level 5 as cases increase daily especially in provinces such as Gauteng which happens to be the bee corona virus hot spot.
People have been asking and speculating if the country will be moving to level 5. Ramaphosa has given answers to this.
According to Ramaphosa, the Cabinet is not considering moving the country back to hard lockdown, however, in places such as Gauteng, stricter restrictions might be implemented. This includes when people may be able to buy alcohol.
Ramaphosa has also provided answers as to when the lockdown might end and according to our president the lockdown is expected to last atleast until the end of the year.
People are still urged to take all safety measures as cases are still expected to rise.
