The province of Eastern cape has been making headlines in recent weeks due to the political mischief which has been happening within the province. The eastern cape residents have witnessed pure corruption, from R15 million spent on an open field of a stadium to Officials looting the Winnie Madikizela Mandela memorial service money. Right now there's another burning issue which is happening in Eastern Cape but people aren't taking it into consideration.
According to the reports from ENCA, the candidates are brothers namely Siphamandla Ntabeni(ANC),Loyiso Ntabeni(EFF), Vuyani Ntabeni( Power to the PEOPLE) and Luyolo Ntabeni(AIC) but the question is, why are brothers fighting for 1 municipality.
What's happening here is that the brother's don't want to gamble with the municipality. There they don't want to be contest somewhere knowing that they run while opposed by someone else, they might lose the elections, so if they are contesting against one another it's best because if one sibling win, it's a win for the family, as long as the municipality is in their hands
In my opinion I think that the brothers are just making sure by all means that they don't lose those municipalities because they are their sources of income, tenders, government funds, are what they have in mind. It's not about they hate each other or fighting for what's right for the citizens but money.
Many people indicated that indeed the brothers are after money and others indicated that the brothers are takin politics as betway. See how other people reacted below:
