DA leader John Steenhuisen has come out in support of Nelson Mandela Bay mayor Nqaba Bhanga

Bhanga is confronting a police test for a potential instance of guilty crime and breaking check in time after he got into a mishap that killed two individuals, Sandile Ronald Sicolo and Nonzwakazi Maho, who were going in an Audi in Gqeberha toward the end of last month. 

Introductory reports said Bhanga had before been praising his birthday, prompting dissatisfaction from some resistance groups that police had neglected to take his blood test to test for liquor levels on the scene. 

Yet, Steenhuisen excused analysis over the treatment of the case. 

"He will unveil a full assertion in the following 24 hours about the mishap and what the conditions were. I have plunked down with him, he has disclosed to me what they [the circumstances] were. As per my comprehension of the lockdown guidelines, they were real and I am certain that individuals will discover why he was out after time limitation and I absolutely believe that it was a real explanation," said Steenhuisen. 

He affirmed that Bhanga would not be leaving as DA mayoral competitor. 

"I imagine that once individuals get a full image of what happened that evening, there will be a more clear picture [and] individuals will actually want to see and make up their own personalities," said Steenhuisen. 

Alluding to claims of a police conceal over the blood test for liquor, Steenhuisen said various individuals had been thinking of fear inspired notions yet there had not been any substantial proof coming out.
