SOMALIA - Somalia's new President, Hassan Sheik Mohamud said on Friday he is secluding subsequent to testing positive for COVID-19, not long after getting back from an outing to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
"Up to this point, I have no side effects except for I will proceed to hole up and serve individuals of Somalia from home," he said on Twitter.
"I ask we as a whole keep each other protected by observing general wellbeing counsel and rules."
The 66-year-old president returned Friday from the UAE where he had made his most memorable authority trip abroad since his political race on May 15.
Mohamud is a previous intellectual and harmony lobbyist who was beforehand president from 2012 to 2017 yet whose first organization was hounded by cases of defilement and infighting.
The grieved Horn of Africa country has recorded 26,748 Covid instances of which 1,361 have been deadly, as per the World Health Organization.
