Many RET comrades thought that Cyril Ramaphosa didn't win fairly at the 2017 Nasrec conference, and as a result, they have spent the most of his administration refusing to acknowledge him as the party leader. However, they insisted that if he wins fairly this time, there won't be any issues.
"If Cyril Ramaphosa wins in December with a majority of the vote, I will gladly accept him as president. The anticipation leading up to a conference is high, and everyone seems eager to support the eventual victor. Let me repeat: the only reason we dislike Ramaphosa's present administration is because it was bought "the Azani remarked.
Some RET comrades are ready to accept whoever is chosen as leader at the national conference in December, while others are sure that Ramaphosa cannot be a good leader. They say he has harmed the movement and should not be given further responsibility for leadership.
"It sounds like you're saying that he's doing a fantastic job as president. Since Cyril's campaign was bankrolled by multinational corporations, his goal was to ensure that the African National Congress (ANC) would not win a majority of votes and form a coalition government with the Democratic Alliance (DA) "An ANC member commented.
However, the following months could yet bring unexpected changes, so it may be premature to draw any firm conclusions just yet. The future of President Cyril Ramaphosa is in jeopardy as the opposition parties are banding together to begin an impeachment process that could lead to his removal from office.
