Below are some reaction by South Africans on Twitter;
What an absolute shame what these kids must endure for education. @CyrilRamaphosa @GovernmentZA @tito_mboweni @AngieMotshekga this is beyond unacceptable, will you let your grandchildren walk through rivers to get to school! Please act on this before it's too late! This is crazy!
Clearly the Government doesn't give a shit about these poor little souls - no doubt when they get to school they have the enjoyment of using pit toilets too
What do foreigners have to do with bridges. Xenophobia is like racism. You don’t realise you’re xenophobic even when your uttering nonsense!
Vast majority (>80%) of taxes goes to servicing debt, welfare and public wages. We are a failed state already but nobody is aware of this fact. The only way to save the country now is economic growth but won't happen under ANC
What can you say to this?
