It was good news for Zimbabwe on Saturday evening in its battle against the Covid-19 pandemic.
This is after the Ministry of Health and Child Care released positive information highlighting how the battle against the Covid-19 is going in the country.
The country of Zimbabwe recorded a significant decrease in the number of fatalities as a result of Covid-19 related complications.
On Saturday evening, the ministry highlighted that there were only two(2) deaths recorded, which was a big decrease from the 10 fatalities that were recorded on Friday evening.
The number of fatalities as a result of Covid-19 related complications now stands at 1432.The recovery rate was at 89.7 percent on Saturday evening compared to the 89.5 percent which was recorded on Friday evening.
Another good news that befell the country of Zimbabwe is the significant decrease in the number of infections. Zimbabwe recorded 58 new Covid-19 positive cases on Saturday, which was a big decrease from the 167 which was recorded on Friday evening.
