Emmerson Mnangagwa ticks all the national development goals - says people of Bulawayo

Emmerson Mnangagwa is all but set to contest Zimbabwe's much anticipated 2023 elections on a Zanu PF ticket.

He has been described as the "Messiah" who will resurrect Zimbabwe from the ashes.

This is according to the Zanu PF Bulawayo Women's League which has endorsed him as their chosen leader.

Mnangagwa has been described as the astute leader who ticks all all the national development boxes in line with his electoral promises.

More and more Zimbabweans continue trickling out of their country in search of greener pastures mostly in Zambia, South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.

Zimbabwe has been at its worst since former president Robert Mugabe fell from power.

A strict dictator himself, Mugabe's tenure has been described as being better than that of Mnangagwa.

“Let’s be united and rally behind President Mnangagwa’s leadership. President Mnangagwa has been in power for only three years and as Women’s League leaders as you leave this place, have takeaways to assist you explain the many development projects being implemented across the country. Zimbabweans are very peaceful people, they are not violent so approach them and tell them about the programmes that President Mnangagwa has implemented since coming into power,” said Monica Mutsvangwa.

It is not clear which development goals Mnangagwa has managed to fulfil.

The 2023 Zimbabwe presidential elections have been billed to be the most hotly contested in recent years.
