Cassper Nyovest wants President Cyril Ramaphosa to show Leadership

Hip Hop star Cassper Nyovest recently broke the silence regarding some of the situation that's been happening in the country.

This past week, in KwaZulu Natal, thousands of people have looted and destroyed shops leaving business owners in devastating conditions.

Cassper Nyovest said that he would usually refrain from speaking out due to the opposition in sharing his views.

However, in a statement that he shared on social media, he said that:

South Africa was a time bomb in this past week. He thinks that it's totally ridiculous to make decisions based on how angry and underprivileged people need to behave from whilst they are at the comfort of their homes.

“Casspernyovest is completely against looting, But he's also equally torn by the shortage and suffering of people.”

He asked The President to step up rather than relying on speeches for action.

He said that Many lives have already been lost, and so we hope that The President will take true leadership and step up.

He added that, The President should Stand up and take care of his country … it’s not just the iPad speech on TV, but actions.

Although Others had agreed with Casper’s opinion, but some disagreed with him too, claiming that casspernyovest is indirectly justifying the situation.
