The ANC have been the ruling party for many years now, as it has been 27 whole years since they have been in power.
The ANC problems however looks to be escalating as people seem to be unhappy with the way they are ruling the country. People showed their anger as they took the removed the ANC posters and started burning them.
This however will be a worry for the ANC as it may seem as if the ANC are slowly losing voters. It seems as if the ANC are having problems one after another.
Just recently the ANC Treasurer Paul Mashatile was spotted handing out money in a church that many people interpreted as if he was buying votes. The ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa also did not receive a warm welcome in Ekurhuleni when he did his campaign there, as people there vowed to not vote for the ANC in the upcoming elections.
The ANC has also had a scandal of not paying its ANC members this may hurt their campaign, as people may start voting for other political parties rather then them. However the ANC is one of the biggest political parties in South Africa with many members and loyal voters, they may just pull through and win these elections if their voters could be loyal enough to still vote for them.
The elections are schedule to take place on the 27th of October 2021.
The ANC will find it hard to win these elections as their troubles seem to be getting worse. The ANC have had problems one after another and that may just affect them in the upcoming elections.
