Naledi Chirwa has gotten tongues wagging since the statement she made after President Ramaphosa wrote a message on twitter asking us to respect the constitution.
Naledi Chirwa, an EFF member called the president a weak boy. While most EFF supporters supporters see nothing wrong with what Naledi did, people have found the gesture disrespectful and trashy as elder people deserve to be respected whether they are involved in politics or not.
@MadiBoity "Naledi Chirwa is very disrespectful and downright trashy in her behaviour to the office of the Presidency. We cannot allow culture of insults and trashy behaviour to go unchecked".
EFF members still do not find anything wrong concerning what she said, as one member stated the following: @54Batallion "Honourable Naledi Chirwa is correct Cyril Ramaphosa is a boy of white monopoly capital. He doesn't respect us a Nation and he doesn't respect himself, he won't hesitate to kill you to impress Downing street he did it before in Marikana".
It's okay to have freedom of speech, however this does not mean that we must forget our morals and start calling our elders such names. We might disagree and have our problems with the ANC but name calling should not be a thing. If it is within the EFF culture to insult elders, then perhaps we need to ask ourselves if we would really want to be led by a party that can wake up one day and call us names.
Do you think Naledi was wrong or right in this situation?
