Democratic Alliance leader, John Steenhuissen has revealed that if president Cyril Ramaphosa doesn't have the guts to fire his cabinet which consists of "crooks", then they are going to do it through motion of no confidence.
Ministers in Cyril Ramaphosa's cabinet who have come under fire include transport minister, Fikile Mbalula, Police minister, Bheki Cele, Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, Lindiwe Zulu.
ANC deputy president, David Mabuza, ANC chairperson and energy minister Gwede Mantashe, Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams as well Lindiwe Sisulu.
John Steenhuissen, the DA leader says they will fire these ministers through motion of no confidence if president Cyril Ramaphosa can't do it himself.
"If President Ramaphosa won’t fire any of his crooks and freeloaders in Cabinet, we will do it for him," he said.
The RET comrade who is set to contest for ANC presidency in December at Nasrec is accused of being a "Gucci" minister enabling wasteful expenditure.
"Lindiwe Sisulu, the high flying Gucci Minister must go! Sisulu is an enabler of wasteful expenditure who is missing in action as Tourism Minister. If Ramaphosa won’t fire her, we will do it with our motion of no confidence," they said.
Fikile Mbalula is being accused of presiding over the collapse of transport entities in the country. Majority of train stations are in ruins, yet during former president Jacob Zuma's era trains were moving in all routes.
"Fikile Mbalula, minister 'Do Nothing' must go! Mbalula has presided over the collapse of transport entities," the Democratic Alliance said.
Jacob Zuma's RET forces have revealed that chickens are finally coming home to roost for these ministers such as Fikile Mbalula who allegedly supported the #ZumaMustFall campaign.
Even though president Cyril Ramaphosa when he came into power promised a new dawn which was free from corruption, his administration has seen massive cases of looting and corruption taking place. This is the reason why Ramaphosa is facing his first ever motion of no confidence along with his ministers.
