Malema is the leader of Economic Free Fighters. Julius Malema has been leading EFF since he founded the party in 2013. However, being the founder and leader of EFF, Malema for me has been taking some drastic decisions that have been destroying the party slowly. Below are the decisions that Malema is taking that are hindering the party from growing fast.
1. Resisting Coalition with other parties.
This is the first mistake I believe Malema is making that is gradually destroying the Economic Freedom Fighter. Forming a coalition government is widely accepted by many political parties in South Africa including the ruling party, I see no reason why Malema should not accept a coalition with some parties including ANC. Malema needs to accept a coalition with the ANC which is the ruling party, I may be for the advantage of EFF.
2. Not supervising the service delivery by EFF leaders.
I have never heard that Malema is supervising the works of EFF leaders at all. This is a mistake I know is destroying the party because some leaders of the party are not working hard to deliver good service to the people.
To solve these problems of the EFF, Julius Malema needs to agree to the terms of coalition with other parties. This will help the EFF get more supporters if properly controlled by the EFF. In South Africa, the Coalition government works better than in some countries in Africa where they don't want their parties to go into a coalition with others.
If Julius Malema wants to make the EFF a unique and spectacular party, he needs to inculcate the attitude of supervising how elected EFF leaders deliver service to the people of South Africa. As a leader who wants to make difference in his party, he must supervise the works of people under him.
