President Cyril Ramaphosa's video in which he describes his role as South Africa's chief executive as a "side hustle" has infuriated ANC veteran and former Umkhonto Wesizwe Military Veterans Association spokesperson Carl Niehaus.
Carl Niehaus has stated that Ramaphosa should resign as president if he is not committed to carrying out his mission.
"Certainly, we understand what Cyril Ramaphosa is saying. You couldn't give a damn if you weren't elected president of South Africa. As far as you're concerned, we're here to serve as a resource for you to exploit.
You need to leave us immediately. With your stash of stolen money, you should run for president of the Ankole Society. You guys are so deserving of one another, I give up. #RamaphosaMustGo!" As Carl Niehaus put it.
The proponent of RET points to Section 96 of the Constitution and claims that it prohibits the President from serving on the boards of directors of other firms.
Ramaphosa has described his role as president as a "side hustle," yet he is also the head of the most successful cattle farming company in the country, Ankole Society.
"That title doesn't apply to me; I'm the president of Ankole society, not South Africa. As for the other, it's merely a bonus. True success would be to become president of Ankole society "According to Cyril Ramaphosa.
In a snub to the people who voted for him and the ANC, President Cyril Ramaphosa's awful joke sent many people into a frenzy of typing.
Some complained, "He earlier told us he puts the ANC first before the country and we ignored it; now he's here reminding us all the presidency is a side hustle and someone would still justify this."
"With this statement, Cyril Ramaphosa alienates all of the people who voted for the African National Congress (ANC) and commits the second of his two major faux pas.
Additionally, by admitting he has taken on paid job while serving in the government, he is in violation of the constitution."
