Approximately 1.35pm, Connie Ferguson, the late Shona Ferguson's widow, arrived at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Harare, Zimbabwe. She has arrived in Zimbabwe to participate in three public appearances scheduled in the capital, Harare. Organizing the visit of Connie Ferguson to Zimbabwe was the responsibility of Nedbank Zimbabwe. Mary Anne Kwidiwi, the public relations and communications manager, who also happens to be the senior manager marketing, confirmed that everything was in place for Connie Ferguson's visit.
Connie Ferguson is a well-liked and respected figure in Zimbabwe. A rewarding exercise in empowerment and the development of viable networks for all parties involved are anticipated by the public at large.
Zimbabweans, on the other hand, are experiencing conflicting sentiments. Some people are still dissatisfied with the manner in which South Africans murdered Elvis Nyathi. As one Zimbabwean social media follower put it on Facebook, they want Connie Ferguson to be 'Dudula', because Operation Dudula was responsible for the death of Elvis Nyathi.
