If it is true, this won't be for the first time head of states caught sleeping in the important meetings. The former president Jacob Zuma and African National Congress, Jacob Zuma was also once caught sleeping, the former president of the republic of Zimbabwe Robert Gabriel Mugabe was also caught several time sleeping in international meetings.
In any case, there are photographic evidence that shows Mugabe and other leaders sleeping through conferences in Africa and across the world are nothing new. Some date back more than a decade, to when Mugabe would have been in his early 80s.
The current president of the republic of South Africa and African National Congress is currently in Nigeria for a state visit.
