People left in shock by the message of on DA campaigns boards in Phoenix

What the Democratic Alliance has decided to put out there in Phoenix on their campaign boards left many people in shock.

Few weeks ago investigations had revealed that there were more than 30 people who got killed in Phoenix while others were shot, two were burnt to death, while one was stabbed, and another was run over by a motor vehicle. Two others died from injuries sustained after being assaulted.

This was during the unrest in KwaZulu-Natal province and in Gauteng Province just after the arrest of the former president of the republic of South Africa and African National Congress, Jacob G Zuma.

Violent protests, riots and looting rocked South Africa in July for more than a week, leaving more than 300 dead and hundreds of businesses destroyed.

Police Minister Bheki Cele said in a press briefing in Phoenix on August 3 2021, gave birth to the “heinous criminal and racist incidents that resulted in brutal killings and injuries, horrendous damage to property, and untold pain and trauma”.

Thirty-six people died in Phoenix during the unrest.

Many criticized what Indians and white people in Phoenix did to black people. But now DA says that they call those murder heroes.
