How To Keep The President Awake During Functions | OPINION

If there is a South African president who has seen it all in the democratic South Africa, it has to be President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, he came into power when the country was going through a lot of challenges after there state was captured, the economy was collapsing, things were difficult and amongst other challenges, the biggest one was the Coronavirus outbreak that took the life of many citizens in a space of two years, you could see when he was addressing that he is under tremendous pressure.

As if that wasn't enough, he also had to deal with the issue of load shedding where the country is going through power crisis, he just has so much to do and so many decisions to make, now there is an issue of illegal mining which he also needs to tackle and make sure that he protects the citizens from all the criminal activities happening around the country, especially in areas where there are mines, he needs to do something, he needs to say something, action should be taken.

Ramaphosa has been criticized over the past couple of days for being caught on camera while he was attending events, he was seen several time with his eyes closed and you could see that the man was surely sleeping, people wondered why is he always sleeping like this, but answers are not coming forth, nobody knows, but maybe it is too much work for him and he is not coping.

Despite the fact that he is always slumbering in many occasions, the president was seen active and awake for the the first time in a long run, when he was communicating with the new Premier of the KwaZulu-Natal Province Nomusa Dube-Ncube, our president was wide awake and in great smiles, the last time he was seen with such smile was when he was announcing the former minster of communication Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams.

It seems whenever there is a beautiful woman around the President, he never slumbers, he is always active and in big smiles, perhaps there should be a beautiful lady near him when there re events, then he will stay awake for the whole event.
