EFF’s Eastern Cape is calling for the immediate resignation of Julius Malema as party leader

The Eastern Cape , Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) provincial command team released a damning media statement addressing it’s President , Julius Malema .

The Eastern Cape EFF said based on the assessment of Local Government Electoral  outcomes , they found it important to convene a meeting to chant the way forward.

The highest decision making body of the EFF in Eastern Cape said part of their assessment included  Malema’s role in eroding the electoral margin of the movement.

The EFF in the Eastern Cape also looked at the utterances of Malema  during the Election campaign trail and during the coalitions talks which subsequently collapsed.

The provincial command team of the EFF In Eastern Cape said the EFF has being eroded and it’s supporters are losing confidence. The leadership of the EFF in Eastern Cape also raised the issue of Malema attacking the Judiciary and ill-convinced association with Former President Zuma . Lastly the leadership of Eastern Cape criticised Malema on his stance on illegal immigrants.

The EFF in Eastern Cape said they are left with no option but to call for the immediate resignation from the party leader, Julius Malema.

It have been raised back that the association of the EFF with Zuma was not accepted by some senior members of the organisation citing that it has got the potential to kill the movement.

The EFF in Eastern Cape is also demanding that all the press conferences of the EFF be conducted by Deputy President of the EFF , Floyd Shivambu.

Shivambu is likely to challenge Malema in the next conference of the EFF for the position of president . Factions are growing rapidly in the EFF as Malema is always being accused of being a dictatorship .

Malema on record yesterday insulted councillor candidates of the EFF who did not make it at the polls of the Local Government Elections.
