'We Were Taught Discipline In ANC, Not To Be Sellouts' Bathabile Dlamini

ANC heavyweight, Bathabile Dlamini is once again firing shots at party comrades whom she said have decided to take a sellout position because of their love for materialism.

Although it is not clear who exactly she is talking about, Bathabile Dlamini is implying that some comrades are being bought to keep quite about issues they should be speaking about. For instance, president Cyril Ramaphosa's Phala Phala scandal, several ANC comrades have remained mum about it as if it did not happen.

Those ANC comrades who are speaking about it have been labelled as saboteurs who want to disrupt Cyril Ramaphosa's chances of getting a second term. Bathabile Dlamini however argues that she will not take a sellout position, but will speak out as that's what she was taught in her ANC growth.

"Cdes that contributed to my growth in the ANC are shocked Skhumbuzo, son of man, Harry Gwala,Winnie Mandela are looking at me with great disappointment. MaThomas, MaBertha taught us a lot and at the core of what we were taught is discipline but not discipline to be sell outs," said Bathabile Dlamini.

Critics however hit back at Bathabile Dlamini telling her that discipline goes with telling those you are close to and your loved ones the truth when they are wrong, holding them accountable when they drop the ball. Not to shield and defend them even when the truth and facts are right in your face.

Dlamini adds that there are people who are looking at her and thinking she is a fool because she has been quite.

"When you keep quite and look at people they end up thinking you are a fool. The quietness and the patronage we see today together with materialism is clear sell out positions. We are made kids. Let’s speak the truth and stand for it," she said.
